For literacy we have been reading the book Where the wild things are by Maurice Sendak.
Miss Percy showed us a photo of some monsters from the book Where the wild things are.There were four Wild monsters that were in the picture that Miss Percy showed us.They were hanging on branches.They were giant and scary.
Here is my descriptive writing about my wild monster
The gigantic monster stares at Max (The King) while he lifts his scaly foot up.His hair sticks up around his head and looks like he got electrocuted.His fur is orange,yellow and stripy.The wild monsters eyes are yellow and looks like glowing amber. He has a tail like a raccoon's tail bushy and dirty.He hangs on a branch like a monkey swinging along the branches

I see that you have used some interesting vocabulary - I particularly like the use of the word electrocuted! I wonder if you could add more detail to describe his terrible teeth and terrible claws?
