Friends

I have friends.Not just ordinary friends, I have friends that actually care for me and always help me.I have Harris class that are my friends but I have friends that I have been with since 2014 and that is a very long time.There are times we have when we are not friends and then we end up being friends the next day and that is because all of us has something special about us and then when your missing there is not that much fun.Like one of my friends is weird some can be funny and some can be energetic and sporty.Here is a another animoto I made just about my friends (LOL)



I love my friends and I wouldn't trade a single person with them.

Swimming Saftey

On Tuesday my class started making a swimming slideshow. Sela was my buddy and we made a pretty cool slideshow.We made this to tell some people a little bit about what you should do if you are a beginner swimmer. We also made it because the holidays are coming up and New Zealand is surrounded with water. This is our slideshow that me and Sela made.

Yesterday Mrs Butler came into our class to teach us how to write a poem.Thanks to Mrs Butler for bringing her dog after lunch.Mrs Butler challenged us to achieve using precise nouns and verbs in each stanza.

This is my poem:

Did you ever
go swimming early in the morning?

Teeth Chattering
Body shaking
Water splashing
Try it

Did you ever
go to Huka falls in Taupo?

Bridge shaking
Water bubbling
People screaming
I loathe it

Did you ever go fishing late at night?

Heart pumping
Waves crashing
Boat rocking
I love it

Did you ever brake your leg?

Scary thoughts coming
Heart pumping
everyone looking
I loathe it

My wild thing

For literacy we have been reading the book Where the wild things are by Maurice Sendak.

Miss Percy showed us a photo of some monsters from the book Where the wild things are.There were four Wild monsters that were in the picture that Miss Percy showed us.They were hanging on branches.They were giant and scary.

Here is my descriptive writing about my wild monster

The gigantic monster stares at Max (The King) while he lifts his scaly foot up.His hair sticks up around his head and looks like he got electrocuted.His fur is orange,yellow and stripy.The wild monsters eyes are yellow and looks like glowing amber. He has a tail like a raccoon's tail bushy and dirty.He hangs on a branch like a monkey swinging along the branches

Where the wild things are

Talofa lava,

On Friday the last day of this term Hay Park School will be having a production.This production that we will be having is based on Where the wild things are. There will be a Samoan,Tongan and Bollywood group that will be performing wild items.We will be having it at night and all Hay Park students will be performing in front of friends and family. There will also be a hip hop group that will be performing. Hay Park is really excited and it is going to be really fun.
